The Robespierre "Award" for Copyright Infringement

Robespierre award

This award was created in 2002 (togeher with many other awards) by the very inventive organizers of the workshop on "Scientific Detectors for Astronomy" held in Waimea/Hawaii, Paola Amico and Jim Beletic. To justify why a copyright infringement deserves an award Paola included the photo below in the workshop proceedings.

Here it should be stressed that Bonn Shutters treat everything in the shutter aperture very gently - even the most delicate things, e.g. photons: We have never detected photons cut into two pieces.
